DESIGN
- Can you design me a…?
Yes I can. Almost anything :-)
- How do I order a bespoke item?
Always contact me first, describe what you would like me to design, add plenty of photos as well, so that we can discuss it in details.
Then I’ll give you a quote and instructions how to place a bespoke order. - Would this product fit my scope / rifle?
If you are unsure, always ask me before placing an order, provide with some photos and dimensions, and I’ll help you to find a compatible model or design one.
- How do the “Design my...” options work?
For the products that have adapters for many different rifles or scopes, usually there is an option that says “Design my wheel / turret / etc.”. It is always a good idea to contact me first and send some photos so we can discuss a few options.
If everything is right, you can place the order, choosing the “Design my…” as scope or rifle model. Then I’ll make you a sketch based on your photos that shows all the dimensions I need to design the adapter part. You’ll need to measure them for me, preferably with a digital or vernier caliper. - What materials do you use?
Most parts are made of laser sintered Nylon, this is a very tough material, has accurate dimensions and fine details, with a polished and black dyed surface.
Some products like the Composite series have high quality 3D-printed PLA/PHA parts as well.
I always use A2 grade stainless steel bolts and nuts. For heavy duty parts, the nuts are A4 quality and the bolts are treated with anti-galling paste to prevent seize. - What colours are available?
Most of the parts are black but all laser sintered parts are available (on backorder and at extra cost) in yellow, blue, red and green, only available as a bespoke order.
The 3D-printed parts can be made in many different colours, see the options for each product.

- I have a question, how can I contact you?
– I prefer e-mails as most design related communication requires sending or receiving photos and drawings. You can send e-mails to info@maestro-design.co.uk or send a text-only message here. I answer as soon as possible, usually from within minutes up to a few hours, but by the end of the day for sure.
– For quick questions you can use our online chat (lower right corner on our web site), I usually answer there within minutes. While waiting for me, please leave your name and e-mail in a message so that I can get back to you even if I can’t answer immediately.
– See all contacts here: Contact page - I sent you an e-mail but haven’t received any answers.
Please check your junk/spam folder, maybe it is there. To prevent this from happening, add my e-mail address ( info@maestro-design.co.uk ) to your address book and whitelist. If you haven’t received any answer from me by midnight (UK time), contact me via our online chat (lower right corner on our web site).
- Can you help me to choose the right products?
Of course. Send me an e-mail,tell me something about yourself, your kit, your competitions etc, and I’m going to help you to find the best hook, hamster, scope parts etc.
PLACING MY ORDER
- Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes, if you want to buy over £1000, I can offer some discount, get in touch before placing your order.
It may be a good idea to make a group order, also you can save money on delivery. - I can’t check out…
– Check that JavaScript is allowed in your browser.
– Check that the two checkboxes (Terms&Cs and Privacy) are ticked.
– If you still can’t check out, try another browser or another device, that usually solves the problem.
– Make sure that your card is registered to the same address as the delivery address.
– Fill in address details along with the card details if asked, otherwise it may be rejected by the payment processor company. - Shall I register an account?
You can always make a ‘guest’ checkout, but registering an account means that you can:
– See all your orders,
– Download PDF invoices,
– Automatically fill address for later orders. - Can I add something to my recent order?
It depends on many things, but may be possible. Always ask me first, and I’ll let you know if it is still possible to add to the parcel. In this case, you don’t have to pay for a second shipping as I will send the additional order along with the previous order.
- I haven’t received any e-mail from the web shop.
Once your order has been placed, the web shop sends out an automated order confirmation email. If you don’t receive this within a few hours, contact me.
SHIPPING
- How much does shipping cost?
I can’t tell this in an e-mail. You need to put all the selected items into the basket, then the webshop will automatically calculate it for you, depending on parcel size, weight and shipping method.
You can check shipping prices at the “Cart” page (Shipping calculator at the bottom of page), or at the Checkout page (after giving all the address details, don’t forget to set the country, too). - How quickly do you post my order?
If your order arrives by 11pm (UK time), I usually pack the order and arrange shipping by midnight so that it will be collected in the morning of the next working day.
If something needs to be printed and assembled then it’s a day later, but always as soon as possible and without any unnecessary delay.
If there is a back-ordered part in your order, the parcel will be shipped as soon as all the parts are here. - Can you send me the tracking number?
If you selected a tracked shipping, then the tracking link will be sent to you automatically, as soon as the parcel is with the post.
If you haven’t received this e-mail for any reason, feel free to contact me. - My parcel hasn’t arrived yet…
– First check your order confirmation email what your selected shipping method says about delivery time. If it is, for instance “4-7 working days” and you are within this time, please be patient. It is on its way and will turn up sooner or later.
– If you have selected a tracked service, you can track its way via the tracking link. For overseas parcels, the tracking link will show a link to your country’s postal service.
– If your parcel hasn’t arrived within the estimated delivery time, then contact me and I’ll look into it.
OVERSEAS SHIPPING
- Do you post to…?
Yes, we post worldwide.
- Do your prices include tax?
No, as we are a small UK partnership, we are not in the VAT scheme so our prices don’t contain any tax, hence the prices are the same for UK and overseas customers.
- Why do you offer only Express delivery to my country?
For the countries that have an unreliable postal service (e.g. Sweden, South Africa), where parcels get lost or sent back too often, I offer only express delivery by courier companies.
However, I can send smaller items with standard Royal Mail services, but entirely at your own risk. In this case please contact me before placing your order.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
- I lost a bolt / nut / washer, can you send me some?
Sure, just contact me and I’ll tell you how you can place an order for them.
Alternatively, you can buy them from Ebay, I use standard metric bolts and nuts. - How can I get a spare part?
Officially, I don’t sell spare parts, except for the Scorpion FT Hook system.
However, if you contact me, I may be able to help, but can’t promise anything. - I need to return an order, ordered the wrong size etc.
