Scorpion Fully Adjustable FT Hook

I designed this hook specially for Field Target shooting, but it has a wide range of possible variations and can be useful for many other shooting disciplines.

• High quality laser sintered Nylon, polished and dyed ‘carbon black’ finish, stainless steel bolts and nuts.
• Lightweight structure with a lot of adjustments
• Adjustments available without disassembling the hook
• This can be done even in shooting position (if somebody can help you)
• Vertical adjustment with 1 or 2 thumb screws (it’s enough to fix one, so you can set the hook to extreme positions, too)
• The main part can be removed from the rifle for transporting
• The whole hook can be tilted to the side
• Upper wing and lower part can be swung around the main axis
• Upper wing and its extra links can be bent and twisted, too
• Native connection with my unique FolloWing extension system
• Hooks can be set in vertical angle, too
• Middle unit length can be increased in 10 mm steps
• Lot of different base plates for connecting to metal or wooden stock, custom plates are available, too.
• Fits to any stock: holes for M4 / M5 / M6 hex cap bolts, CTC can be anywhere between 15…100 mm. The slots on the base are 5 mm wide with 10 mm wide space for the head, which means that:
  – M4 bolts can be used with an M4 then an M5 washer, but it’s suggested to use flanged head bolts instead,
  – M5 bolts can be used with a washer,
  – M6 bolts fit but without a washer and a minimal DIY is needed to drill up the slots at the desired places

Scorpion MK5 New Design

I added a lot of improvements to my professional FT hook design, creating the MK5 (2023) version that will replace the discontinued MK4 (2016-2022) version. Some parts are backwards compatible with the MK4 so the two systems can be combined if you don’t mind some visual differences but I’d suggest not to mix the two systems.

Features on the new MK5 design:

• Engraved marks for all adjustments – now you can record and reproduce your settings any time

• New 152mm stainless steel hook, 137mm and 97mm Nylon FT-hooks
• HFT-compatible 2.25″ (57mm) Nylon hook
• Extended upper wing base option, for better integration with the Butt Pad Kit or to add half a link length to the upper wing

• Slim hook holder links – don’t protrude that much as the old design

• Rounded link elements – gives a smoother fit when the links are twisted

• HFT-compatible 2.25″ (57mm) extended one-piece upper wing
• Fully re-designed FolloWing articulated wing – with the massive cogs style connection instead of the weak link

• Dual or single thumb screw variations for FT shooters
• Dual or single bolt variations for HFT and other disciplines where a quick adjustment is not needed

• Two T-Rail versions, 130mm and 150mm
• 3-position limiter bolts on both ends of the T-rail
• T-Rail with integrated monopod (available on a separate page here: Scorpion Inline Monopod)

• True L/H version fully mirrored in every function, and now available in all variations

• Coloured base plate and knobs are available, too

• Other minor improvements that are not listed here
